Both our men’s and women’s shirts are cut with the same thoughtful tailoring, a medium drape, and a clean, structured silhouette. But look a little closer, and the differences reveal themselves.

His features two gauntlet buttons, two barrel-cuff buttons, and a classic collar, anchored with considered button details at each point and a single button at the back , a quiet nod to tradition.

Hers is softer: a single gauntlet button, one barrel-cuff button per sleeve, and a wide, open collar that flows without interruption. No buttons, just ease.

Finding Your Fit

Trapsuutjie garments are designed with a tailored, medium-hanging fit — relaxed enough for comfort, but cut with care to flatter the form.

To find your size, compare your own measurements with the guide below. For shirts, you only need two key measurements.

1. Chest / Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your chest or bust, keeping the tape level and relaxed.

2. Shoulder Width

Measure straight across from shoulder point to shoulder point.

If you fall between sizes, we recommend choosing the size that gives you the fit you prefer. Adjustments can also be made upon request via email.

All measurements are given in centimetres.

A note before you measure

The numbers below are yours, not the shirt’s. Measure yourself, and choose the size your own chest or bust sits closest to.

Every Trapsuutjie shirt is cut with room already allowed for. The garment itself is made wider than the number you read here, so there is no need to size up to make space for it — that space is part of the pattern.

If you would prefer something closer to the body, or a little easier than our tailored cut, write to us before you order. We will make it sit the way you want it to.

Our men’s shorts are designed with a relaxed, considered fit, balancing ease of movement with the clean lines of Trapsuutjie tailoring.

Length is measured from the waistband to the hem along the outer seam. The inseam is 16 cm across all sizes.

Women’s Shorts

Our women’s shorts are cut with an easy, refined silhouette, comfortable enough for everyday wear while retaining the understated structure of the Trapsuutjie aesthetic.

Length is measured from the waistband to the hem along the outer seam. The inseam is 13 cm across all sizes.

Men’s Trousers

Our men’s trousers are available in three lengths, allowing you to choose the silhouette that feels right for you.

Long — a full-length trouser with a longer finish.
Regular — our standard trouser length.
Ankle — a shorter, cropped finish designed to sit above the ankle.

Length is measured along the inseam, from the crotch to the hem.
